Details of Game #5: Apr 12, 2016
Moorestown defeated Rancocas Valley 15-4 as nine differrent girls scored and 25 players contributed to the effort over the previously undefeated Red Devils.
The Quakers played a very aggressive and athletically competitive team from RV but had too much depth and too many possessions for the Red Devils to compete throughout the game. Additionally, RV was without it's top player senior MeKayla Montgomery.
Moorestown dominated draw control 16-5 even though one of tops draw specialists Jessie Button was injured and could not play. Quinn Nicolai came away with five draws. The Quakers had at least 23 shots on the cage as they ran a very methodical offense and controlled the tempo of the game.
The defense played a very aggressive game but was victimized a couple of times due to its efforts on the ball far away from the 8 meter. Both Jess Goralski and Lawson Hayes split the goalie play with each getting three and two goals respectively.
RV's Aimee Uibel limited the Quakers as she made several key saves on strong low shots. Moorestown continues to win using the strength of it's bench and rotating players into the lineup with no drop off in effort and efficiency. The Quakers also have limited their turnovers to an average of about five per game.
