Details of Game #16:       May 11, 2016
Moorestown 7   -   Shawnee 6     (Reg Season)

The Black and Blue series ended in a 7-6 win for Moorestown marking the 24th time in the last 25 games that the Quakers have won this intense rivalry.

Moorestown built a tenous 4-1 halftime lead, added an early second half goal and than imploded as they have been doing by poor shot selection and turnovers. The Renegades mounted a nice comback on the heals of those errors and took a 6-5 lead with eight minutes to play.
Moorestown called a timeout, converted on two possessions and bled the clock for the game. With four minutes to go and a 7-6 lead, Moorestown squandered an opportunity to milk the clock as another turnover almost proved costly. A great double team at the opposite end of the field enabled the Quakers to get the ball back and finally seal the game by spreading the ball out.
Moorestown won the possession battle by winning the draw 10-5 but low percentage shots and nice goaltending by Bianca Smith (10 saves) enabled Shawnee to stay close the whole second half. Moorestown outshot Shawnee 17-11. Six different Quakers scored led by Anni Nissen's two goals. The defense continues to keep the Quakers in the game led by Jenna Martinelli, Jessi Britton, Nikki Dadino, Brittany Wright and Delaney Lawler.
