Details of Game #4:       Apr 10, 2017
Moorestown 16   -   Hunterdon Central 5     (Reg Season)

Moorestown played a very athletic and aggressive Red Devil team from Hunterdon Central and won 16-5. The defense was on point forcing Central into many mistakes and keeping them from driving to the cage the whole game.

The Quakers made the trek north to Flemington and were led by it's 8 meter defense and ride all over the field to secure a quality win. Even though the draw control was tied at 10 apiece, Moorestown's goalie play and defensive pressure led to more offensive opportunities.
Kayla Frank, Robin Panzarella and Quinn Nicolai led the stat sheet. Nicolai had five assists to go with her two goals. She also had five draw controls and four ground balls. Frank had three dcs, two legal checks and four draw controls to go with her two goals and assists. Panzarella and Kacey Knobloch led the scoring with three apiece.
The halftime score was 9-3.
The offense took time to gel as there were some unforced errors but the defense dug in and played great led by Brittney Wright, Nikki Dadino, Julia Dalmass and Delaney Lawler. Nine different girls scored goals. The theme of this game would have to be effort as the Quakers made hustle plays all over the field.

Moorestown takes on the state's #2 ranked team in Bridgewater Raritan on Wednesday at home, 3:30.
