Moorestown 16 - Clearview 5 (Reg Season)
Details of Game #16: May 05, 2018
Moorestown jumped out to a 5-0 lead only to see that lead shrink to a 6-4 halftime lead. The Quakers won the second half 10-1 to take home a 16-5 victory of the Pioneers.
Moorestown was able to defeat Clearview with its superior depth, solid defense, goal tending and offensive variety as there were seven different goal scorers. Robin Panzarella and Kacey Knobloch led the attack with five and four goals apiece while Ava Frantz and Kayla Frank each contributed two. Frantz, Frank and Panzarella each had two assists. Frank was a monster on draw controls with five. Logan Lillie was solid in the cage with eight saves.
The defense was strong all day as Delaney Lawler and Julia Dalmass led the way, limiting the Pioneer's leading scorer to no goals.
Moorestown had two goals taken off the books, one on a dangerous shot and the other on a last second goal prior to the end of the first half, clearly before the horn sounded. Moorestown won the draw 13-9.
