Details of Game #18:       May 12, 2018
Moorestown 10   -   Agnes Irwin, Pa. 5     (Reg Season)

Moorestown Girls Lacrosse celebrated 60 years of lacrosse today by defeating one of Pennsylvania's best, Agnes Irwin 10-5.

Moorestown ended the regular season with a nice team win over the private school power behind Kacey Knobloch's three goals and two assists. Knobloch's second was her 100th career goal..
Robin Panzarella, Cailin Field and Kayla Frank chipped in with two goals apiece.
Moorestown used a short bench and played a very deliberate offense coupled with physical defense and very good goaltending to win a hard fought game against another quality opponent. Agnes Irwin has played a very tough national schedule and it showed as they gave Moorestown all it could handle. Moorestown won draw control 9-8 but two yellow cards did not help AIS even though Moorestown did not take advantage of the extra man opportunities. Knobloch, Field and Frank each had two draws.

Moorestown starts the NJ playoffs next week as the # 1 seed in Group 3. Next Friday is also Prom and it could conflict with the first playoff game.
